The best New Doctor Who Episode’s

May 27, 2007 by timeelements

For my first real returning post i thought i would create a list of my favourite new doctor who episodes.

So hear it is

  1. The Empty Child
  2. Father’s Day
  3. The Parting of the Ways
  4. School Reunion
  5. The Girl in the Fireplace
  6. World War III
  7. Daleks in Manhattan
  8. Human Nature
  9. Dalek
  10. Rose

As you can probably tell i think the first series was by far the best. Im not shore why i think i just like the mystery and darkness that surrounded the 9th doctor.

Any way i hope to have a new post up in a few weeks about Macs and Windows.

Doctor Who Series 3 – Episode 1 – Smith and Jones – A review

March 31, 2007 by timeelements

Coming Soon…

So What Is This PS3 Thing Anyway

March 22, 2007 by timeelements

With under 24 hours till launch i was wondering how much of a failure this could be for Sony. I mean you can still go out to the shops and place an order and get it tomorrow (launch day)! something that was imposible with both the Wii and Xbox360, intact they sold out weeks in advance.

So where has it all gone wrong? Was it the lack of information? Was it the staggering price? Or was it just that there was no demand for it, that the 360 and Wii had managed to fill its void?

Personally i think it was a mixture of them all. I mean i know nothing about it other than it uses Blue-Ray disks! Not a good thing considering i was fairly informed about the 360 and the Wii. Then there’s that price 400 odd quid for something that is just as good as its £200 competitor and the fact that it costs a lot more than that to make and Sony are making a BIG loss on each one. now as for the 360 and Wii filing the void, Well that im not as shore about, im shore there’s room for one more console if not 2 or 3 but they need something to make them unique. The wii had its amazing controller and the Xbox had its HD graphics, so what dose the PS3 have, well HD graphics and a controller with till ability smiler to the Wii’s and i think that’s the main place where its gone wrong, It doesn’t have a big pull, nothing unique like the Xbox or Wii.

So would i buy one?

The simple answer is no but then again if i was given one i would be very thankful to ther person who gave it to me or if 400 quid magically appeared in my hand then i would probably buy one. but for know ill leave it to the people who for some odd reason really want one.

CodSteaks TARDIS – A Review

March 19, 2007 by timeelements

For those of you that don’t know the CodSteaks TARDIS is a 1:6 scale Highly detailed model TARDIS. It is available as a model or a DVD/CD Cabinet. It is accurate in almost every detail and is probably the most accurate TARDIS model you could ever own. They come with a fairly hefty price tag but it IS worth it. The production of these beauties is finishing very soon (in fact they may have already finished producing them) so if you are interested you should contact matt at
relative.dimension@blueyonder.co.uk ASAP!

Now to the review of my DVD/CD Cabinet! The detail on the TARDIS is amazing even lock is detailed!

Its made from solid resin and is fairly heavy but that’s good you wouldn’t want it to be flimsy now would you! The texture is fantastic and so it the paint it looks like it should do (a darkish blue that isn’t pristine and has black bits in places not a bright blue all over). The signs look great and so do the amazing windows each panel of which is hand cut and mounted! They are truly fantastic! The lamp is also an amazingly detailed piece with a optional block to make it accurate to an other series. There is a mini TARDIS (or baby TARDIS as CodSteaks call it) which is also pritty accurate, which is connected to the TARDIS by a piece of wire which means that when you press the light on the baby TARDIS the lamp on the main one lights up! and its BRIGHT!

Each TARDIS is fitted with its own number plate and certificate. It also comes with a poster of the different types of TARDIS and a poster of the TARDIS model!

So thats the CodSteaks Model TARDIS!

Its defiantly worth the money! and no i don’t work for CodSteaks lol

Im back

March 18, 2007 by timeelements

So after a short brake im back to posting on my blog!

Sorry about the hiatus but my hard drive crashed a few weeks ago which was very annoying but luckily i have learnt from past experience to keep all my data on a separate hard drive. So luckily i didn’t lose any important files.

Now to business ive been looking at all the macs and ive decided its either going to a 20″iMac or a MacBook (the black £900 one) But i really cant decide which one! But I have a felling its going to be a MacBook.

Now to doctor who! For those of you that don’t know it starts on the 31st Marc, BBC1, 7:00 pm. So not long to wait now. It looks like its going to be an utterly fantastic series!

Now im quite lucky because in the half term holiday i went for a visit to Upper boat Studios! of course that meant i had to sign an agreement to say i wouldn’t tell you lot anything! So don’t even begging to ask what a saw! But i can tell you it was FANTASTIC!!

Thanks for reading!
